artiest informatie

Joe Buck is the pseudonym of Jim Finkley, an American country and rockabilly musician from Murray, Kentucky. He plays double bass and guitar.

As a solo artist, he is a one-man band called Joe Buck Yourself. His first claim to fame was as the guitarist for Th' Legendary Shack Shakers. He played all guitar, bass and drums on their 2003 album Cockadoodledon't.

He currently plays bass for Hank Williams III's country/hellbilly "Damn Band", and is a member of Williams' punk-metal project Assjack. He is credited, along with Williams and Andy Gibson, with engineering and producing Williams' most recent album, Straight to Hell, and appears to have recorded backing vocals for Hank Williams III's Bootleg #3 Pre-Release album.

He and his ex-wife, Layla, once owned Jim and Layla's Bar in downtown Nashville, Tennessee. After splitting up, Layla was awarded ownership of the establishment which is now known simply as "Layla's".
